Hard ain.
Weller is my musical man crush and I loved Shed Seven at that time but again, although I prefer both bands heaps more than Squires rebound project staying true to the choons I think my favourite is like a rum old slapper.
Love is the Law.

Kinda in the same boat there Andy.
Favourite band would be Fanclub and i'd listen to them above the others now.
But i'm thinking as my 16 year old self here and voting for..........Shed Seven - On Stand By

Hmmmm
Never liked Shed Seven tbh. Prefer The Jam to Wellers solo stuff. The Seahorse? MEH
Teenage Fanclub for me. By miles

Fuck me though. That Seahorses track got to number 3?????

Yeah it's a difficult one.
Love Teenage Fanclub now but they were peripheral at best during Britpop for me.
Loved The Seahorses then but get a bit of a minter listening to them now. Think I was definitely blinded by the Squire... The Roses were absolutely everything to me musically at that time so it probably didn't matter what old shite he battered out - I'd have loved it. A bit like a 90s Beady Eye fan...
I've never really got the Manics. Always left me a bit cold. Loads of well thought of bands I'm like that with. Stones, The Who. Don't think they're bad bands, just never quite saw the big fuss.
Canna vote for Witter though. Although his ode to Henry Kelly's xenophobic 90s game show may test that should it come up later...
TEENAGE FANCLUB.

Shed Seven. The Seahorses album is definitely in my "never listen to ever again" pile.

Shed Seven - been to see them a couple of times live.

Have a real soft spot for Shed Seven, glad to see the band getting some love. But my vote goes to Changing Man.

Teenage Fanclub. Partly because the Fannies are wonderful, partly because the other songs are abysmal.
