Never been able to drink malt whisky,even the expensive stuff.

Just find it fucking ghastly stuff.

Sacrilege for a Scotsman maybe,but i just cannae go it.

Whisky. Smell of it makes me sick. Won a bottle of whisky from the Herald a couple of years ago because I wrote a letter saying Malpas and Narey should be in Scotland's 50 greatest players. Strangely enough I can drink Jack Daniels and coke.

Southern Comfort. Got pished on it when I was 15. Spewing big time. Used to feel myself boak when I had to pour it when I worked behind a bar when I was a student.

Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and other bourbons i really like, particulary with coke and ice. Malts though

Also had a horrific experience with Southern Comfort around the same age .Never touched the shit since.

I tend to avoid spirits. When I start drinking them it really is time I should be heading home.

Port to me is just posh Buckfast.

First time I tried Bucky I had 4 bottles and a newsagent probably still has nightmares about my 7am custom.
Port is worse than Bucky.

Gin is the only drink I can't stomach, had it once 15 years ago and spewed, never been near it since.

Not daft on Bourbon either but will drink it if given.

I cannot drink lager, the stuff is fucking humming. Struggled like fuck for cider in the Netherlands for a week, nae danger I was paying 8.50 euros for a voddie and coke. Nowadays, I'm omniverous when it comes to alcohol.

But I also don't really go out with the intention of getting absolutely 'hammered' any more, although it may happen.

Was in Amsterdam in Feb for a long weekend. The beer was braw. You should have got on the Leffe Blonde. Most boozers sold it. Don't mind Cider but if I drink too much of it it gives me heartburn

I'm a bit like that as well although I do end up 'hammered'. Rarely go into the town now. Do most of my boozing in house now. If it wasn't for the futba I'd probably go out for a pint once a month tops

Tried all the different beers mate, Amstel Radler was one I could just about deal with, basically a shandy.

I don't like champagne (only drink it walking into a wedding) whisky, vodka, jack daniels or sherry

Gin and brandy are the choices if i stray off the wine or beer.

Cider is OK but but home made cider gave me a close one. Party half way up Hulltoon and the home brew was extra strong.

Somechunt turned up wi clippers and 11 folk shaved their heed, including a lassie.

Left the party the next day wi pure white nappers and we're met by undercover polis jumping oot unmarked cars and vans.

They were camped out waiting for the skinheads that had been attacking the Mosque opposite the party.

See trying to explain that you are not a skinhead when you have a skinhead!
The burd greetin aboot her skinhead helped persuade them though.

Too much sugar in the mix ended with us no lookin too sweet.
