I have found myself pondering numerous unfortunate leg brake senarios whilst driving over the last few days too.

I will devour the humble pie gladly.

Got exited at the thought of us having him though. Then the thought of him going to the  The zombie!?

It's hard to take as they can spend stupid money on plenty so called decent players but if they build a midfield around him I worry that they might progress from the stagnant regress.

He might be overated but I've a feeling he's getting better and is a quality player.

Even if we got him I'd be worried that he will fuck us over somehow whilst I get being a stepping stone club I don't like the feeling I have regarding his way of doing things.

That might be more from his advisors but all the same you don't want more fan splitting or disrespectful behaviour towards your club like he is showing Hibs after kissing the badge and the managers arse.

Re: Scott Allan

I would like him, I don't think he'll come, as others have said - he's destined to become a Sevconian.

If United really wanted him "back" they should pay Hibs the money we received for him from WBA, which is not going to happen.

Re: Scott Allan

I would love Allan back as in my opinion he is a top player and would make us tick but I just don't believe we are really wanting him with the season starting this weekend.....the only thing that may tempt a late bid is his transfer request but I will be gobsmacked if we get him.

Re: Scott Allan

I just dinnae see it. He is a talent but he flatters to deceive. From what I saw last season he was good in cup game v us and played well in the game where Hibs humped Sevco 4 zip.

Even if Hibs accepted an offer from us he wouldn't come IMO. He's choking for the Sevco ill gotten dollar

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Scott Allan

Course it is.

If wed signed him in January and Sevco came sniffing about he'd have probably put in a transfer request. Something about him that I just can't take too.

Also think he's overrated

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

I may be wrong but it feels like Scott Allan Stevie May Billy MaKay rumours were all put out by the club to fool us into thinking there was ambition at the club and to assist season ticket sales.

So what would have happened if Wigan or hibs accepted the offer?
Would we have just ran away like some sort of transfer chickenelly??

200k we bidded and terms with player were agreed too. hmmmmm

Re: Scott Allan

United had everything agreed with Wigan and McKay, wasn't their fault he coudn't agree a severance package but goes to show the club had every intention to buy him. Not unless you think that was all smoke and mirrors too?
