Batman V's Superman

I have a 6 year old in my house who will be very excited to see this (though he prefers Iron-Man).

Re: Batman V's Superman

I detect a hint of sarcasm in there Sir? Not a fan of these movies yourself perchance???

Man of Steel was a good film ruined by the ridiculously overblown last third of the film. As for this one, it's looking a bit more promising than the last trailer but its going to suffer the same problem as the Amazing Spiderman in that it has tried to reboot a character too soon after a decent set of films had been done on the same character (Spiderman 3 apart). They should've got Bale to reprise his role or not bothered with Batman in it.

Re: Batman V's Superman

No sarcasm mate.My wee yin loves the Marvel and DC films so I always take a wee interest in the 'franchise' (hate that word).

His favourites were the Iron Man films.Personally I thought they were 'ok',but found the Spiderman films more watchable.

Captain America was pish.

Re: Batman V's Superman

Which Captain America film? The first one was ok but I thought the second one was great. Best Marvel movie in fact.

Re: Batman V's Superman

I dunno I only watched a bit of one and found it utterly dull (so did the wee man).

The boy out the Fantastic Four was playing Captain America (daft).

Re: Batman V's Superman

Cannot wait for this. Looks brilliant. Big DC fan. Plus got a 5 year old pinging of the walls for it. Can't get enough of the hero movies. I always use the excuse that the wee man is learning English when we stick them on lol.

Re: Batman V's Superman

Went to see it last night. Had zero expectation.

I thought it was brilliant. Best Superhero film I've seen.

And here,Ben Affleck...,he was brilliant.A really good Batman.

The wee man loved it too. Though jumped out his seat a few times.Bit scary for a 7 year old.

Re: Batman V's Superman

My wife dragged me to see this last Thursday night.  At midnight.  I'm really not into this genre of film anyway but even taking that into account, I thought it was crap.

Re: Batman V's Superman

I liked it. It was on a hiding to nothing from the start. All the critics slating it but if you look at audience reviews it's doing not too bad.
