Re: Glastonbury

Totally missed it last night, Friday's usually are a write off for me. Another for catch up. Will probably do a Sunday session on on it.

Only problem with "Glasto" is it can get a bit up it's own arse in a whole manner of ways.

Re: Glastonbury

Lionel Ritchie was superb too

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more

Re: Glastonbury

Glastonbury went to phuck when they started to invite Rolf Harris twenty years ago, and we all know how that turned out.

That Saturday line up on the Pyramid Stage was a disgrace, for a musical snob like me.

It's supposed to be a Rock, Blues and Folk Festival by tradition. Kanye fn West, Burt fn Bacharach, Paloma fn Faith, George fn Ezra, Pharrel fn Williams etc.

Rolf would have been there too, but had to call off this year. Cunt's been there five times so far.

Re: Glastonbury

Have to agree re Saturday night Pat it was fucking Rank for a festival. As my auld man would say when my brother played all that hip hop when we were younger "get that shite aff, that's no music, that's just some loon arguing with himself!"

hear hear Pat, well said.  Kayne West?  Pffft, bonnie laddie.  Glastonbury appears to be going the same way as all the other festivals unfortunately - full of mainstream chart shite.  The Who were great though.

As I said up it's own arse. Folk get told what to like and the BBC give is "Lege,Lege,Lege" shite and then the new one "Living Legend".

Re: Glastonbury

Dont mind a bit of Kanye on the ipod but wouldn't really be up for seeing him at a festival. Think festivals are a bit shite now anyway.

For young people which I am no longer one of

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate
