Thank you very much for the numbers Fooky.
Game 12 had a very good scrap between two polar opposite movies, we showed that we loved Full Metal Jacket long time with just a vote between them and the mob from Airplane! which flies through to the next round as well. Robocop ran out of batteries and Raging Bull threw in the towel, and joins the long list of movies eliminated from the competition.

Have to go with my avatar picture at the moment.
Naked Gun!
Raiders of the Lost Ark is my least favourite Indiana Jones along with Crystal Skull. Thought Terminator was not bad, but liked the sequel much much better. And Mrs Sieb will slap me for not voting this but Coming to America is one of her favourite movies, it is very funny though.

I also made a huge error trying to stick with Tek's format and trying to keep it a swift competition. I will have to do a SFA changing of the rules in regards to the seeding, im trying to keep the next round relatively short to 10 games of 3 movies each instead of 15 going straight head to head.
So for example, next round I will ask for 3 numbers from 1-30 and say Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and Aliens might all get picked to go against each other, and only one movie will progress to the semi finals.
Does that sound ok? I apologise for this shocking oversight and will take a good long hard look in the mirror at myself...

Aw min you're just ruining the close season. If it's not slewing the voting with pictures of beavers and tits; its supersizing some movies at the expense of others to subliminally get in our heads to vote for who you want to go through; and if it's none of these two, it's making your own rules up!!!
You're doing a fantastic job Siebby LOL

Funny how opinions differ. I'd have Raiders in the top 10 films of all time. Raiders my vote btw.
I also think the first Terminator is by far the best. Real threat throughout that the second didn't really have, despite Robert Patrick's excellent villan. The first Terminator isn't really a sci-fi film, its more of a film noir horror movie.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to my opinion to be honest, my tastes are all over the place. For every Dumb and Dumber, dick and fart movie that I love there is a Lars and the real girl, obscure type shit.
I just preferred the faster pace of temple of doom and last crusade. I still dig Raiders and I enjoyed crystal skull, remember I'm one of the ones who actually liked the phantom menace, so there you go!
Also spot on with the Terminator, T2 was akin to what Jim Cameron done with Aliens, big guns and big action, and the original was more akin to the first Alien movie by Ridley Scott IMO more terror and horror.

Changed my mind.

I was estatic when the Naked Gun series commenced, having been a big fan of Police Squad in the early 'eighties.
It's got to be Naked Gun.
