Thank you kindly Hunted.
The second game ended with a bloodbath, with Scarface and The Shining going through to the 2nd round seeded and unseeded respectivley. It proved to be no happy ending for the Princess Bride and no encore for Spinal Tap either, we wish them all well with their future endevours.

Highlander.
I'm afraid life in Cumbernauld was a bit too close to life in East Kilbride for my liking i.e. = Brain numbingly shite.
Plus John Gordon Sinclair is a fucking knob,as is Claire Grogan.

Flash Pants.
Failing that, 'Uncle Buck'.
Even although Chic Murray's performance in Gregory's Girl was memorable.

Highlander with having a French actor play a Scotsman and a Scotsman playing a Spaniard with accents flying all over the place is fun, but is unfairly tainted by the ridiculous sequel that shat all over it.
Uncle Buck, If I could I would have put all of John Hughes movies in this competition, I love the guy and love Uncle Buck, but not as much as Weird Science which isn't in the competition, booooo!!
Road House was ultimate 80s cheese.
But my vote goes to Gregory's Girl, any movie that has those type of haircuts and the line "Tits, bum, fanny, the LOT!!" gets my vote.

Toughest round of the competition so far.
Some great movie posters there, Highlander and Gregory's Girl in particular.
Love all these movies. Gregory's girl is a bit off the mark in bits, but still perfectly captures the goofiness and innocence of young romance. Uncle Buck is an out and out classic, a movie that can be watched every year and still be laughed at. Highlander was awesome the first time I saw it's but it is definitely a movie of its time and it's not dated too well but I think that's the reason it's still a great watch.
My vote goes to ROAD HOUSE. It's just a fantastic 80's movie that has everything - action, martial arts, tits a plenty, dodgy music, romance, friendship, comedy, signature killer martial arts move, cool cars, classic 80's baddie complete with goons and Swayze. Fun for all the family.

Uncle Buck. I thought Highlander was a pile of shite. Not seen the other two.

Another tough one indeed!
Very torn, I would say Uncle Buck but it looks safe so going to plump for Highlander as there can be only one.
