8-9 would be better so I can type on the pc upstairs. Mrs LAO moans if I am continually typing on the phone/tablet when we are watching tv.
After 9 I'll tidy up any remaining questions on the tablet downstairs when TFI is on. Hope this is ok?

Mickeys. Made an absolute cunt of myself right enough. Was trolleyed watching the Scotland v Italy decider and lost the rag when Italy got that well dodgy free-kick that led to their goal. Gobbed on the telly. Absolute clown. Suffice to say, I'll never live it down. If the missus hadn't been about 7 months preggers at the time she would've murdered me that night. Especially when HBAF and the like bring it up when they are in the mood to give me a slagging.
Gave myself a Hysel style ban from watching Scotland in Dundee whihc only ended about 3 years ago.

Hello all btw. Best forum going.
I am 36 mate (37 in August) and stay in Forfar. Have done since 2005. Before that I lived in tayport from 96-05 and Dundee born and bred for nearly 18 years.

Alas no but I knew the family of the lassie who got murdered in Tayport (the Dewars), they drank in my mum and dads pub. The boy that killed her was a little fucking rat, a total nobody. It was a total waste. Totally shocked Tayport.

Most memorable United game you've been to?

My dad played Junior football and I grew up watching him but I distinctly remember him saying to me around age 5 or 6, "If you want to learn about football, Dundee United are the team to watch." Him and my grandad took me to a Utd Celtic game around 83/84 which I have no recollection of. Dad told me him and my grandad fell out with a copper for shouting at me for having my legs pitchside when I was sitting on the dyke at the front of the Shed. The first game I remember going to was in 1985 where we cuffed Dundee 4-0 in a midweek game. Bannon and Alex Taylor scored. I was in total awe. Hooked.

I really like the song Lifes an Ocean by the Verve on a Northern Soul. Specifically, there is a live version of it on Jools Holland which is just amazing in my opinion. I really like the Verve's 1st album as well. The Stone Roses are my faves though, along with the Happy Mondays. The Verve are from Wigan btw.

A happy wife is a happy life mate.
My question is, what is your favourite United strip and were you a Sega Mega Drive or Super Nintendo man?

Gothenburg 1987 at Tannadice. Has to be. I still talk to the wee man about it today. The whole notion of it was just mind-blowing then and especially now.

I like Easter Road actually, Tynecastle is good as well. I actually am one of those people who actually likes Hampden (post renovation, it was a fucking toilet before). We always make a cracking noise there. I wish it was more like that at Tannadice these days.
Worst: Pittodrie. An absolute disgrace.
I went to Firs Park to watch Cowdenbeath when my dad was the boss there. Took the missus too. Had to be seen to be belied. I was actually a nice sunny day so it had a certain charm to it.
Bloomfield Road though is the worst ever (Blackpool) went there in 1988 with my Sunday football team on our end of season trip. Fuck me. The only thing worse was the game.
