As I turned 50 in the Easter Hols, I first saw United in the mid 70s (I hail from Arbroath) so

70s - Graeme Payne

80s - Ralphie (but now I'm older and wiser Davie Narey was immense and probably our greatest ever player)

90s - Straddling 2 decades Jim McInally

00s - Mark Wilson

10s - Ryan Gauld but Soapy too as I have been shouting for a year for him to play cnetre mid!!!

Paynie was Gauldy before his time, with equal talent.

Unfortunately, for him, he lacked ambition.

FWIW, Paynie destroyed more players with his talent than GMS but the end product was pretty similar in their early days.

In Scotland I would say Embra City Centre, but if you mean the World - Kiawah Island in South Carolina. Up until last year I went golfing there for the previous 7 or 8 years. Beautiful climate with Charleston being relatively unspoilt in terms of neon light America. The golf was amazing too - amazing courses (including the Ocean Course where Rory won the PGA and Langer missed 2that putt" in the "war on the shore" 1991 Ryder Cup). Playing golf watching out for snakes and alligators is interesting!!!

Hey TEK - hope today went as well as days like these can do.

I like JM. I like what he says. But why can he not convey his steely interviews and winning mentality over to the team? Why can we not defend? Why do we make mistakes like Groundhog Day?

Everyone was too emotional between 2 Feb and the seasons end, but I would have sacked him if I was in charge.

We blew the Scottish Cup v the Farmers for the above and if we had won that - he would have been manah=ging Norwich.

In cold light of day he needs a fast start or by tattie hols he could be toast!

And I'm now happy for him to get that chance as his managerial career is going nowhere unless he does something with us.

Not at all mate as often I'll have played golf in the morning - home - say hello to wife and kids then out to the futba - that#s pretty decent to be fair.

The boys in the car are great fun. I always had a couple of beers before and a shandy after, but with the new DD laws I'm more wary.

On the day we decided we would have a late Christmas Sesh and book a train - that was the Icy pitch v Icey Tea and the game was aff before we got to The Trades!!! Had a great laugh stuck in Dundee for 12 hours and some of the Dundee boys came in and met us!!!
