Eh thought the exact same thing when I heard the interview. He needs to sit down and be told who is ready? Is he serious like, surely he should already ken?
While on the subject, the lad Zwick is meant to have impressed from what I've been told fae someone who works with United. Only 20 though so maybe a bit early for the boy but who knows.

If Jackie goes with either Mcallum or the young pole next season, we are bang in trouble, both had a chance and blew it..albeit Mcallum was thrown to the lions against Aberdeen.

I'm worried about our ability to defend properly. To me, last season we defended with four individuals, not as a unit. That might have been due to a language barrier, to be fair not many folk can understand what Morris says with that accent.
McNamara was a defender who played at the highest level in teh Champions League, you'd think a defender who had hit those heights would know how to shore up a leaky back four and get them working together as a unit.
