Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

In case nobody knows Sky Sports is freeview on Saturday to promote their new European Football channel 🙌.

Think smelltic will scrape a draw with some jammy injury time goal 😑

Re: Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

Nearly 22 years since we've won there (including very fecking winnable Cup Final's)

I don't think we'll win on Saturday either, but i do think we might sneak a point given how poor they've generally been since Ronny bhoy took over.

A 1-1 draw with Ciftci getting his 1st goal of the campaign.

Re: Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

Never have a better chance of winning through there, although I have said that on several occasions before.  Just got to go through and be brave enough to have a go and strong enough to stand up to their pressure, then hopefully get a 93rd minute dodgy, offside penalty and bury it, we're due a bit of luck through there.

Re: Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

Whatever the result, it'll benefit united.

A win would be unreal.
Draw Is great.
Defeat keeps the players heads on the ground.

Re: Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

There is never, ever any benefit in a defeat.

Why would you want the players heads on the ground anyway?

Re: Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

There is certainly more than a good chance of winning, they are struggling from back to middle and have little pace about them according to those who have watched them. Fermers by all accounts were right in there until the sending off!

Can see Stretch taking a game as he usually does at tinkpark,

heart 3 - 1 Utd, head 2-0 celtic with Morris or the mad pole getting sent aff for daring to tackle stokes.

Yes their is, it's called a blessing In disguise.

Rather that than arrogant little wankers strolling on to the pitch.

So you'd rather we lose than gain massive confidence from a win. Ok then

Still don't understand why you'd want the players HEADS kept on the ground.

I've had a rethink i think we'll win 2-1.

I dunno why but i can see Chris Erskine popping up with a shock late winner.

This my friend is highly fucking valuable knowledge that you have been so kind as to share with us!

If this was a 3pm match, I would have definitely made my way through to Parkhead, but can't be fucked with an away match lunchtime kick-off' this weekend.

22 years of lying down at Celtic Park. Does no-one at the club feel even a hint of shame????

Too much commotion

Re: Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

Fucking Minter of a performance.

Guess we went there with the idea of 'playing our game' going by open the match was for both sides. Seems that we aren't good enough to go to Celtic Park and play 'our game' and since Paton gifted them the 3rd goal, we have been totally flat.

Fucking Scottish top flight fitba...boring as fuck....another 1 horse show jumping trial for the title it is then.

First 3 minutes could've been 1-0 either team, sliding doors.

Re: Celtic v Dundee United 16/08/2014

Oh dear, back to earth with whallop, let's try and keep it all in perspective though, we're no playing Legia Warsaw next week, c'mon United bounce back with a whallop. 9 points out 12 will appease the majority i guess?
