Hey folks - 2 geniune questions regarding st johnstone
1) Why did they take a flag onto the halfway line of a team that beat them in europe pre-match? I've never seen a mypa 47 flag, a AEK athens or a slask flag at any of our games? There may be a historical reason or a genuine friendhship between the 2 clubs - i just don't know what it is.
2) Do St Johnstone have some sort of grudge against the club? It appears under the tommy wright era, that every time we play them, theres something - that fatty english winger was piping up on twitter about our players last year, TW was telling the press about how they deserve credit etc etc.
Is it purely making a siege mentality to get the best out a limited group of players or something more? Is there a genuine gripe there? As i said, i've never really witnessed any real anti-united feeling from them previously?!?

Jackies comments about them on Arabzone appear to have got back to St Johnstone after they beat us 1-0 when Rado flogged Mays shot added to whatever he said to Tommy Wright during their rucus in the same match appear to have sparked their ire towards us. Pretty sure Jackie said on Arabzone that all they did was bang long balls and hit balls into corners whilst we were trying to play the right way. True but you don't publically say it.

The game where we made about 9-10 changes pissed them right off as well since they thought we were saying we could put out a reserve team and still beat them.
