Evening Pat, I always enjoyed your comments and thoughts over at MAD over the years, and it was great to see you over here along with a few other posters who recently made it on over as well.
My United related question is, you had the chance to see wee Jim join the club right from the start till he went out swinging, but aside from his exit what is your most memorable McLean moment and did you ever have the chance of meeting the great man.
Non related question is, what is your favourite movie.
Thanks Pat!
Favourite movie is Blazing Saddles. Wee Jim was an obstinate man, and so was I! I used to write to him about improvements around the club he could make (never related to the players), and he would write back telling me I was never happy. I did meet him, at a supporters' meeting in the Tnagerine Club, and told him I'd been writing to him.
He found this amusing and was a real gentleman. Any time I saw him after that he'd shake his head or kid on he was hiding: I stopped writing to him. Meeting him would be a favourite moment. Now, I hear, he doesn't keep too well, and I feel sorry for him and Doris.

Have you ever cried at a Utd match?
Aye, a few times. Winning and losing, sometimes vodka tears, sometimes from the heart.
Most recently the 2010 Final probably.

What's your favourite tipple?
I'm omniverous with alcohol.
I enjoy lagers, and although I can take any spirit, gin and elderflower is presently my favourite.
Gordon's premixed or free hand?
Free hand, triple and lots of ice in a big glass. And a sprig of rosemary.

Nadir: can't understand folk getting on his back. Some fans must be fantastic football players too.

I like Tannadice and it suits our crowds as it is: the idea of flags in the Shed was a good one to fill a space. Liked seeing our 'Larbert' flag in there.
The improvement I'd make would be a better surface for players to show their skills.

Best talent for years outwith Gauld and still not enough.
He can perplex, though.

It's improving by the day, Pat.

I'm confused on that one, but think he's preparing for his exit. Made a mistake in late January, and appears to be abrasive in the face of criticism. I'll go for sinner presently.

Duncan Ferguson or David Goodwillie, who is your favorite lovechild from Stirling Sir?
Missed this earlier.
Duncan, a made a great career for himself. Goodie finishing at the sheep finished him for me, even although big Dunc had a short spell at Ibrox.

Would've answered the same, apart from confusion.

Enjoyed doing that.
Number 7, and Julian Cope. Do you do the artist of the week bit?
