Re: the pitch

According to Ranks, the grass is growing and it'll suit our play for the rest of the season.

It certainly did Bowers, I commented on this during the game and a lad standing beside me with a big fat nose said "aye, grass grows at this time of year"

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah

Heard it again tonight in the precious surroundings of Tannadice and can vouch for it.

Re: the pitch

Hopefully with a bit of TLC in the close season it will come good in time for next season, was relaid last summer but not given enough time to bond with the soil. What it does need is a good heavy rolling 1st to flatten the bumps in it and of course a team next year to pass to each other again on it.

So it suited us fine in the first half.  But then it must have stopped growing at the interval coz our game went all tae feck in the second half!

it wasnt fully relaid mate thats what the problem has been all season they only dug up certain areas of the pitch for the new sprinkler system to be installed and there was some issues with it.

Re: the pitch

Ah, cheers Bowers, that then explains why the ball doesn't run true, well it probably does need relaid then or at least a full layer of top soil, rolled and reseeding according to an expert at RM Landscapes

It was still growing, we just didn't play as well second half. It'll be so lush by the weekend that our freeflowing fitba' will be back.
