i think you could right TEK, possibly came to a head that he's getting left out...as long as we replace with better...thats all we ask for..

BG doesn't want to be here + JMac doesn't want players who don't want to be here = 1 conclusion.

Re: Brian Graham on the move

Bugs he was in good form in pre-season but has been snuffed oot since.

I reckon there has been some kind of showdown or ultimatum fae BG i.e. play me or let me go.

Re: Brian Graham on the move

Both sides are probably right, and if both are unhappy then get divorced.

BG always came over as uber-confident and that's a good thing when you're playing well and regularly. However, on the bench it could lead to resentment and frustration.

Either that or BG let his id pop up and take over his superego, then Jackie punted him.

Probably the first time the terms 'Id' and 'Superego' have been typed in a Fitba Forum, anywhere in the history of the World.Ever.

Good ol'Bugsy.

Re: Brian Graham on the move

Brian was on Sportsound tonight when I was driving home, sane old chat, his goals to games ratio was good, he expected to be United's first choice striker but accepts Ciftci had a good season last but he needs to play every week at his age.

Two interesting points. He said he was a Jackie signing, he said that Houston had shown interest but they never talked, it was 100% Jackie who signed him.

Also said Jackie was great with him, said that he wanted to keep him as the third striker in case of injury and he was entitled to do so but he didn't want to make him miserable so agreed to let him go.

Re: Brian Graham on the move

I always said he was a Jackie signing.

Some Arabs just like geeing Houstie pelters for everything.Which is a bit weird imo.

If Graham doesn't want to fight for his place then fuck him tbh.

Re: Brian Graham on the move

Knew you would, the slip bit was supposed to be mildly amusing.

Vye would you think shagging his Mutter is so veird?

Never mind that boring stuff, there's the 20s derby coming up.

Understand that sentiment, but if he has been told by Jackie that he's third choice and he only wants to keep him in case of injury, then can't really blame the boy for wanting the move. Good luck to him.

The strange thing is him and Goodie last year in a 2 man strike force would've been great, the fact we played 1 up front all year made them both poor signings.

Re: Brian Graham on the move

He could have gave it a bit more time to try and dislodge mario as at least number 2 striker though imo..

If he wasn't getting a look in come january fair enough throw the toys oot the pram.

Hopefully it works out well for us and we replace him with someone faster, younger, hungrier.

Scores for Saints after coming off the bench.

Re: Brian Graham on the move

If he'd done that more often for us he might well have got a start more often.

Or at the very least been number 2 striker.
