Re: points

Yes, it's a game of football and the team's we have to play are not suddenly superb and our team is not suddenly shite, it's the mindset that needs to change. A fair bit of hard graft, show some belief and we can still compete and collect some points between Sunday and the seasons end.

Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah

Re: points

I think between one and five points. Five out of eighteen would be a superb return compared to our recent form. St. Johnstone will overtake us, but if we can get five points we should stay above Dundee.

Re: points

Beating the funsters and a couple of draws would do me.  Hard to see that happening though.

Re: points

We'll win one up in Inverness with their focus now on the cup final.

The point you make about the Johnies is most depressing.

Re: points

Staying above dundee at a minimum is our main focus. I say this, but presently struggling to see where the inspiration is going to come from to even manage this.

United are 5 points ahead of Dundee. Both teams have 6 games left. Dundee have to play Celtic twice. I reckon Dundee can get between 6-9 points from their remaining games. I reckon United can get between 1-5. It will be hard for Dundee to catch us, but far from impossible. I think it willl be a close run thing. This Wednesday's game for Dundee against Celtic will be a good barometer.

It's great all this speculation stuff. One result can blow it all out of the water.

For me the most frustrating and disappointing thing is the lack of any reassuring statement from the Club in these troubled times. So frustrating you just want to get away from it all. Let them get on with it.

In light of other threads, I don't think we need a reassuring statement because it would be seen as a vote of confidence that usually means the opposite (unless you're looking for some reassurance?). Fact is a lot of targets have been achieved but I'm still weighing up the business v football ratio?
