Hello folks
Quick bio – 29 years old, married, from Hamilton and live in Hamilton. Lifelong United fan. Not a season at the moment but go as regular as I can and mostly away games. Other hobbies include connoisseur of crisps and supermarket lager. Like a lot of posters, enjoying TEK Towers! Renewed my interest in messageboards more than just checking for transfer rumours and team news.
Let’s get cracking….

My dad is a United supporter and simply got taken to the games since I was old enough. I’m 29, about to turn 30, and started going roughly around 1990; that’s around 25 years although I would say my first memorable season was the 93/94 season we won the cup and it’s the one that really got me hooked big time as a United fan. Not from Dundee and have no family ties, my dad simply became a United fan with friends who started watching them in the late 70’s/early 80’s.

Last years. On the whole the seasons leadings up to had been getting progressively better and better but I was blown away by last years. Going to match after match and sticking a minimum of 4 by the opposition team was something to behold in addition to doing it in style. The closest I have witnessed united playing total football for that short period of time, whatever happens with JMac I will alway hold him in high esteem after last season.

Its a close run thing as they are my two most important food groups behind crisps.
Indian shades it, the starters are better!

Huntley in the Scottish Cup, but not for the main event but watching the madness around it. Policeman chasing pitch invaders, Wee Jim telling off the supporters, hoarding boards collapsing......excellent stuff.
Semi final v Hibs 2005 - for the total surprise of winning the game and the manner in which we done it; almost everyone was there out of duty than anything else. I remember sitting waiting on the inevitable Hibs goal and when they scored I thought that was it! My horse also won the Grand National that day - fantastic!
Semi-final v Aberdeen 2008 - Its always great beating Aberdeen but in a cup semi under the floodlights at one of my favourite grounds was a bit special.

Wee claim to fame but Cat Cubie was the first girl I ever snogged!
I haven't told the wife that though yet...

Wish it was Brewster, but that was not to be.
Levein. First time in years going to Tannadice with total confidence in the team and not thinking winning a big match was a one off or lucky. Everything around United started to look better and it was great going to Tannadice watching young hungry players fighting for the team and knowing fans of other teams would do anything to have those types of players in their team. Always felt for Levein not getting a trophy for us, he deserved it. Probably the only manger I would have back.

Does Jenna Jameson or Ron Jeremy count?
To be honest I don't have a major interest in watching any other sport outwith football and even that is only United or Scotland.
Quite like this athlete though.

Yea something like that. We were both 12 and she was Catherine back then with brunette hair. Lovely lass, we knew each other for a few months, we snogged I asked her out and she said politely said no. Great kisser though. didn't even think much about it until I saw her on TV doing the weather one nightshift a few years back. lol.
Anyway, another question for you Bob,
Favourite Steve Guttenberg movie?
