The 1st semi final of the '80's Song Cup' saw a close run match settled by a solitary vote AET.The victor was "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by JOY DIVISION,and as a consequence it will now deservedly take it's place in the Final of the tournament.It defeated (the now eliminated) track "This Charming Man" by The Smiths 6-5.
