Looking like there's no way back for Jackie now unfortunately so it seems a fair question to ask.
Who would your choice be?

Remember it was not that long ago the management team extended thier contracts, could be an expensive piece of gardening leave, maybe the 3 of them could do some work on the pitch.

He's made dough whilst our team has got weaker.
Fans won't have that

This is where i'm at tbh.
I really like Jackie as a man and (of course) i want him to succeed for Dundee United, and he has to an extent.
But i've never been completely sure about him.He stills make the same mistakes he was making 2 years ago.Problem is we no longer have players like Johnny Russell,Morgaro Gomis,GMS,Ryan Gauld,Stuart Armstrong and Andrew Robertson in our arsenal and as a consequence we're no longer out-scoring teams to paper over the teams deficiencies. We're starting to get found out big time.
I want him to turn it round, i really do.But i don't think he has it in him to do so.
I also think in light of the revelations of him receiving transfer cash he's lost a fair percent of the support.A real shame because this time last year we were the toast of Scottish Football and had scouts from all over at our games looking at our players who were ripping teams apart most weeks.
How everything fell-apart so quickly is as sad as it is shocking.

If we found ourselves looking for a new Manager soon i would let Stevie Campbell take the reigns till the seasons end.He deserves the chance.
Bow could take the Development lads.

Cathro is certainly an interesting prospect.
Think he would be mad to leave Spain though, and don't think he would tbh.
Not that it matters really but is he a Utd fan Eddy?

Was a Zombie up to the age of 15.
Then an Arab but his priority is himself and that won't change. He has ambition beyond us so unless he has a major fuckup we can forget his evolvement at UTD as can the huns.

Know a few folk who played under Mixu at Cowdenbeath who said he's an arse and not up to much as a manager. Badger for me as boss but I'd take O'Neill or Hartley. I'd be quite open to a foreign manager though.

Do you think Jackie will survive?
I just can't see it.

Time will tell.
As I said, imo there is no way back for him. He seems to have lost the players, and the fans are turning.

It will indeed, but I still believe JMac is perfectly suited for DUFC. "No way back", what has he done so wrong to warrant that? You could have as much to do for the fans turning (if they are) as him.
