Evening everyone,
Thought I would start by giving a small bio about myself for a starter since I dont think I know any of you fine posters personally yet. I am 35 years old, married with two young daughters aged 2 and 4 so I am right in with Frozen and Tangled if you need to know any of that stuff! The wife is a teacher and I work for the Fire Service in charge of the Blue Watch looking after the people of Lochgelly and the surrounding areas, I am originally from the North East of Fife Cupar area but moved down to Burntisland 8 years ago.
Its a pleasure to be here and I really enjoy reading all the posters thoughts and comments even if I disagree with some the conversation has always been adult and funny.
Ok, im ready, be gentle...

I was playing with my Star Wars toys when I was about 7 or 8 and saw my brothers and dad sitting watching a football game live on TV in the evening, I wondered who it was, they said it was Dundee United playing an important european game (dont know which one!) and I remember seeing the strip and thought the colour was cool.
So that was the start, and maybe because my older brothers and sister all supported Rangers even though they have never been to a game before.

Sorry for being late but I was here last night.
Is the latest statement from Fed/Trust a) a call to arms or b) a suicide note for fan involvement?

I have a few that stick out during different generations and teams, I started going to the football in 1990 so missed the glory years.
Special mentions go to Kjell, Mo, Bow, Billy Dodds and Lars but the one guy (apart from Sieb) who stood out and had the heart of a lion was wee Erik

You're another positive supporter, have you watched the JYM years on the ZONE or is it too risky?
Some of us saw it in the flesh and still appreciate where we are now in a different set up.

Sean Dillon. Not the best player at the club skill wise but everything I could ask for in a captain.

94 cup final I was too nervous to really enjoy it, and 2010 is up there but I would have to go for the Tannadice leg of the Partick Thistle playoff, pure bedlam! And also I really enjoyed the CE Principat european game at Tannadice, have fond memories of that for some reason as well.

Thanks Bugsy, I am positive but would probably say I am more of a realist if you know what I mean. I envy the posters who saw United all through the 80's. Its not easy being a United fan but thats why I love it, I saviour the victories no matter how small.

would you rather united played well and lost or played shite and nicked the win?
