As Vulture said we discussed it before after he suggested it but it's something i'm not keen on at this time.

I want to make the board as accessible to as many Utd supporters as possible.

I also wouldn't want to give off the impression that it was an elitist wee board.We only have 150 members so at this point in time there really is no need imo.

If Utd Mad were to fold at some point and we got an influx of a few hundred new members then,it would be considered again perhaps.But if truth be told i would still probably leave it for a bit and it would then be my,Stobie's and any future moderators job to make sure the place was properly policed.Which it would be no problems.

The only time i consider making the board 'private' is during the Q+A's.Infact i've offered every single participant of them the option for that to happen,but they've all to a man so far said that won't be necessary.

Think we're ok as we are at the mo tbh mate...'if it ain't broke don't fix it' an all that.

To be fair mate, he has already played over 50 games in the lower leagues, think his biggest problem is that he doesnt seem to have a fixed position. I like him, unlike others, he never hides and is alwways happy to take the ball.

This is as good a place as any to say 'hello'. Been looking in for a short time, and you are so much more civil here.

I don't post a lot (just over 3000 in 12 years plus on Mad), but (mostly) enjoy reading what others think of the club.

But I can post pish with the best of you, and it doesn't just take booze

Welcome Pat, i always liked reading your posts on Mad. I know a lot of the guys on here still post on Mad from time to time (Hunted in full United Mad, taking no shite, mode is brilliant!) so it's great to see another long time poster dipping their toes in over here as well.

I don't prescribe to choosing only one forum and that's it, the them or us type thing because I honestly don't believe anyone on here thinks like that. We can all get along, argue, have banter etc. like adults, and I'm sure if anyone acts the cunt then Mr Stobes and TEK will get it sorted.

So one good thing is coming out of Utd Mad finally teetering over the brink into full-blown lunacy - we've just got a healthy dose of good posters from there.

We're still waiting on a few before we lock the doors...

He's played out of position most times he's played, helping out as JM puts it.
Better judged after a spell in his favoured position. Hope the fans stay off his back.

Just been reading mad and from reading a few topics it's clear that the mods are untrustworthy there, personal details are clearly getting shared. Fights getting offered, children getting brought into it etc. I can't believe grown men get in such a state over the internet.
