    Seen a tweet on Saturday someone posted.Was a facebook message Erik wrote to the Utd support saying he couldn't make the Final because he was getting treated for cancer.Was completely shocked.

    Is he in remission now?

    Seen it on FB today too.  Shocked.  Horrible illness.  Hope he can fully recover.

    Erik put up a Facebook status on Saturday night wishing United all the best against Celtic, and the reason he couldn't come over was because of his cancer treatment but he did state he was now given the all clear from the hospital.

    I tried to find it again but it's no longer on his timeline, or maybe it's lost in the shuffle as there has been a lot of messages from Arabs and other friends wishing him a speedy recovery.

    I sure hope I read it right and that he has won his fight. Nothing but  for the wee man.

    Had  a melanoma removed from his thigh but some time before all clear given.
