fools gold...mind hearing it at a proper underground night at fat sams early 89 for the first time, was blown away..

Fools Gold is a blinding track. I probably voted tactically although think a lot of folk on here hate The Smiths

Like people have already said, amazing riff.

Torn here again. Well apart from The Undertones.

'How Soon is Now' is a great track and I can put my hatred of Morrissey to the side. But then Fools Gold comes into it, although again just scraps in at the very tail end of the 80's and in my mind it screams early 90's!!! I have always really liked 'Promised You a Miracle', but don't think it is Simple Minds best tbh.

So for me, controversially going to go for 'How Soon is Now'.
