Whether Goodwin will be the answer is debatable.
I would also lay the same amount of doubt around Levein.
Both were sacked by their previous employers.
Goodwin 4weeks ago Levein 4yrs ago.
If Levein was not here before (13yrs ago ) he would not be in the conversation.
Agreed. Wasn’t really getting the love in for Levein over the past few days just as I don’t get the absolute seethe regarding Goodwin. Every appointment is a gamble and this is no different. Goodwin will get my backing until 8pm on Saturday then I reserve the right to call him a grey haired arsehole who I want nowhere near the club.He done an abysmal job with the sheep, they were in freefall before he got punted.
I'm in agreement with you about Levein. Goodwin imo has done nothing to merit getting the job. But it's win win for him. He keeps us up he'll get the job permanently more than likely. If we go down he can say it was already a lost cause when he took the job.
I’m not delighted with the appointment but talk of boycotts and other OTT reactions I’m seeing elsewhere are a bit unnecessary.
It does piss me off that it is the same names getting linked all the time with jobs up here. Someone needs to show a bit of initiative and think outside the box at some point.

Temple from the Courier saying expect swift progress on Goodwin.

Talks broken down with Levein so he isn’t coming in at all.

A sad night for the club. Difficult to know who comes in next. Immediate stand outs might be Goodwin, Lennon, Martindale or Hughes. As an outsider perhaps Lampard, who will be desperate to restore his reputation, but the financial package might be beyond our means.
Either way its up to us, the fans, to back the new gaffer to the hilt.
Lampard!!!! You have spouted some rubbish on here but that might just take the biscuit

After reading main points from the AGM can I just say Ogren out and hopefully soon cos we are fucked.

It will be like everything else when it comes to so called protests with Utd. Half-arsed with only a handful of people showing up. Would go myself but work commitments mean I can’t. I hope I’m wrong though and fair play to the people who do go along.

What got me was the Ogregar brigade thinking they were heroes on the back of finishing higher than 8 teams. We knew this was because there were 8 teams slighly more crap than us and we made the most of our luck.
None of the 7 who remained have improved much but we have got considerably worse and created our own bad luck. Fox will probably go tonight, for Ogren to keep the support, Tony has to go tomorrow in my opinion.
No chance fox goes. He’s here for the season. Even less chance Asghar goes.

Legends day in February? Utter nonsense.
Hopefully there’s protests in and out of the stadium. Time for Asghar and his merry men to be punted out the club before it’s too late.
Almost like it was planned for when Ogren was over in order to minimise any protests. Fuck them let’s make Saturday as uncomfortable as possible for Asghar and Fox. By all means give the legends the reception they deserve but before and after that we need to be vocal.

This forum has been full of people complaining about a lack of communication.
Mr Asghar has given a no-holds barred interview where he was asked some genuinely difficult questions and he answered every one.
Its a decent start.
Wasn’t asked any difficult questions about Lewis Neilson though.

In reality, folk have made up their mind already and nothing he says or does will change their opinion.
I don't agree with everything he said but equally, don't get the uproar.
Agree with that Tangy. Many fans have a fixed mindset when it comes to TA.
Dosent matter what he says.
One things for sure painted bedsheets and negativity inside the stadium won't help the team pick up the points we desperately need.
Leave the pitchforks for the end of the season.
Leave the pitchforks for the end of the season when it’s too late.

Yip. Especially cos he wouldn’t have been expecting our fairies in midfield to let the Hearts boy run as far before shooting.

What qualifications does Ross Starke have for the football operations job. Was the assistant kitman for a few years while studying accounts at Uni. Hell of a promotion from kitman to that job.
