The only way the American market could watch this game is if they all pay for the game through a DUTV subscription. The only folk who will be watching the game in North America will be the Ogrens and the handful of exiled Arabs like myself who normally have our Saturday games kicking off between 7am and 10am - which is fine. More likely a toe in the water to see if there's an appetite in Scotland for Saturday games under the floodlights (and I think most folk would prefer to stick with 3pm - I would).

I lived in Toronto for a short spell a few years ago CA. Took me ages to get used to knowing United's Sat 3pm results at mid day, I was suffering fom game lag!

And yeah despite what's being suggested I think trialing the two Utd/Aberdeen 6pm games has very little or nothing to do with USA/Canada.

there are spfl games shown in the usa on paramount+ [sometimes cbs sports] but they are mostly the twa erse cheeks games. however, something to get people in the usa excited about scottish fitba, our game against killie is live on paramount+

Anyone know anything about dodgy streams for the game? Just announced there’s no DUTV coverage.

Can you not get bbc iplayer out there? If so then it's on there from 19.45

Can’t get the iplayer unless I have a UK TV licence ☹️

get yourself a vpn, set it to the uk, and then go to the bbc iplayer

All what i've heard in the past few days.

Feel free to add.

Why would Clark sign from Saints if Benji re-signs? Why go from #1 to maybe #2? Is this just a back-up in case Benji doesn't sign? Personally, I would rather we have a new goalie for next season.
Not too enamored about Harkes signing either. He is reasonable in some games, not enough for me to offer a new contract.

The so called cure is far more damaging financialy & mental health than a couple of days feeling shite

its not just a couple of days of feeling shite. if people get this virus and survive its still not over. a huge % of those that have survived will now have lifelong heart/lung/kidney problems. something like 30% of all those in the usa that are waiting for a lung transplant are there because of COVID. a lot of survivors are also suffering from "brain fog", they cant think properly, etc. all of these people will need treatment and/or medication at some time and this will place even greater strain on the NHS. then there is all of the time those people will be unable to work. we are going to be paying for this for a long time to come. so, allowing large gatherings increases the chances of virus transmission, allowing for the development of a new strain ....... and then we start all over again.

Well that went as well as I expected.
The team are devoid of confidence, chances and greedy players who want to take shots.
The rebuild needs to come asap, and a lot of dead weight needs gone.
We stayed up and got to the semi finals; that's not bad. Next season is the real test for them all.

I just wish we had those couple of players who inspire the rest.

thats why we signed pawlett for 2 years

Josimar the Brazillian full back and Charlie George. Both turned out to be brilliant signings for us.

First league game in 2 weeks (and a 2 week break after this too). So a chance for the players to knock their pan in and then enjoy another period of rest and recovery.

Seems like a big game that we really should be looking to register a win.

Will Logan Chalmers be back? Hopefully. He certainly is a player who offers us a 'spark'.

What team would you chaps like to see? Mine would be (injury permitting).

......................Siegrest......................
Smith....Edwards...Reynolds..Robson
McMullan...Butcher...Harkes...Sporle
..............Shankland..Clark........

Subs - Mehmet, McNulty, Power, Fuchs
Connolly, Bolton, Pawlett, Appere, Neilson

so, you hope to see chalmers back but then dont put him in the team or subs?

Did anyone watch the match against Hibs on it? How did it go?

Picture quality was fine, commentary was not always in sync, but again, I think the whole presentation was running around 90 seconds behind actual time. Just after the Edwards injury my son was able to tell me Hibs were about to score, as it was showing up on his Live Scores app.

same for me, had twitter on to see what other arabs were saying about the game and then found that it was well ahead of what we were seeing on screen.

He is doing a Tannadice to Tynecastle walk in aid of funds towards legal expenses

says on the funding site that its tynecastle to tannadice, so which is it? i dont mind giving money for tynecastle to tannadice but i'm not giving anything for tannadice to tynecastle.

It's been changed from Tynecastle to Tannadice for obvious reasons. Don't see what difference the direction makes to whether you donate or not. Bit of a bizarre comment.

it was a joke ya dour faced bastard!!!!

See how we are going for young strikers - whats wrong with Aaron Murrell - 180 goals in 2 games for spartans and in our dev team just now.  Why isnt he getting a chance if we are prepared to take risks?  Now fair enough i dont see all the games (actually non apart from azone ) but worried a bit about rays lack of trust in our youth - add matty smith, jj (he may be a nutter though) etc.  Just thinking like.

Only player i can think of is JT Johnson (Mo's son but he only really played college football i think)

anybody who has scored 180 goals in 2 games must be worth a shout?

Dundee United » North American Arabs - Help Please! » 13/7/2016 3:09 pm

Scottish games are usually shown on Fox Sports+ which requires an extra monthly payment above and beyond upper level cable. I tend to stick to getting the games on the interweb, same for this Friday.
