Re: Utd v Partick - Saturday 25th August (3.00pm)

Not got a clue about the selection Csaba will make, and he's probably already thinking of starting Safranko up front on his own.

Only seen United v Dunfermline, and felt he utilised Clark too deep, almost as a midfielder, when he's a penalty box striker. Didn't feel it was a two with the clearly unfit Curran.

        Rakovan
Wardrop Barton Frans Robson
Aird Rabitsch Stanton Loemba
            Safranko Clark

(shocking lack of midfielders to choose from)

Hope for two up front and an attacking performance, but wouldn't count on it. If Csaba messes up again, is he gone this time?

Stanton supposedly a doubt for tomorrow (Hernia).

And may even require surgery.

The sooner Fyvie's back the better. On that, was he not supposed to return to training this week?

Re: Utd v Partick - Saturday 25th August (3.00pm)

What terrible questions the interviewer(s) are asking in that Safranko clip. What would it mean to you, what are your targets, and what would it mean to you? These questions deserve the answers 'Jack Shit'.

Why not ask the lad about his career to date, as an example of helping him settle: stuff he knows about, rather than pie in the sky future promise type pish?

On the Fyvie injury, we shouldn't pin too much hope on the lad, two acl injuries may mean he's not the player he was.

As I've said above, we have a lack of midfielders, if Stanton's out it may mean Barton being put in midfield, where he looks too casual (a kind word for slow).

Clark nowhere to be seen (injured, presumably).

And Murdoch starting.😣

Think Curran and Safranko might work well - will be interesting to see how that goes

Loemba a few dafty moments here. Decent first half, we're defending alright, would like to see us take more control of midfield.

Live stream gash compared to week 1

Yeah - I'd hook Loemba and bring on Glass.

Will take the scoreline but our lack of possession of a real worry

Re: Utd v Partick - Saturday 25th August (3.00pm)

Played really well today. Thought the pressing was excellent, first time I've really seen us employ that.  Great at the back for the most part.

Every man out there grafting for a full shift. Cant really say there were any passengers. First time we can say that for a while.
