Re: Fraser Fyvie

Out of nowhere but delighted if we sign him. Watch Hibs games last season, he made them tick. Sits deeper in midfield but always tries to make those forward passes to keep things going.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Outstanding signing always rated him very surprised we got him but delighted he's good on ball technically and can dictate a game and also has bit of an arrogance about him which I like in a player

Re: Fraser Fyvie

I'd be happy with that, if it was to happen. Looked like one of Hibees best players last Season.

KEATINGS
KING
SCOBBIE

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Worth noting that The Courier reporting deal not done yet but he is expected at Tannadice tomorrow to meet Ray and finalise.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Been reading comments from Hibs supporters tonight and a lot are dissapointed they've let him go.

That bodes well.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Unless Ray brings in another midfielder we could have a midfield of:

McMullan Fyvie Flood King.

Not too shabby.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Good signing on the face of it.  Hopefully it is a done deal.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

If we managed to snag the Prince too then a midfield on him and Fyvie with Willo as back up would stroll most games.

King, Fraser, McMullan to fill the wide positions and we have plenty quality to destroy teams!

Excited to see what strikers he brings in too.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

What a difference a couple of signings make aye, a bit of positivity at last, mon the fucking shed

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Not going to give the new signings individual marks out of 10 but between the 5 of them I'm giving Ray 40+ out of 50 no bother.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

I think we need a backup keeper, another CH, another CM and at least 2 strikers.  Try to offload Donaldson and loan out Long.

GK - Bell, Long
RB - Murdoch, Ballantyne
CH - Durnan, Edge, Donaldson, Toshney
LB - Scobie, Robson
RM- McMullan
CM - Fyvie, Flood, Fraser, Allardice, Brad Smith
LM - King, Matty Smith
ST - Keatings.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

We definitely need another couple of strikers in and another CH.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Hearing Paul Quinn former Ross County & Aberdeen CH will join fir pre season- keep fit try and win a deal ed imagine.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Paul Quinn has a bit of pedigree and height about him, and is a decent age for a CH. Other than that, I'm unsure.

Fyvie doesn't score many, and I'd see him as an upgrade on an ageing Willo. Not certain I'd be keen to see the two of them in central midfield though.

Remember him at Motherwell (but strangely not Aberdeen).

Strong player.Technically not blessed but get's stuck in and a bit of a physical streak about him.

He has also played some of his career at right back so would also be an option there as cover.

I'm sure he was only at Aberdeen for six months in between two spells àt Ross County.

Re: Fraser Fyvie

Think yer right Rocky. He had signed a 1 or 2 year deal with the SSBs, but only lasted  6 months as ye say. Then he reisigned for Chunty.
